/files/Members/lusk_johnbarri_Resized_169x168.jpgJohn and Barri Lusk became Christians in 1983, while they were attending Louisiana State University.  They were married in 1985 and now have two beautiful girls, Jana and Marin.  Barri has a BA degree in Sociology and John has a BS in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Religion. They have served in the full time ministry since 1987 in many cities throughout the world—Baton Rouge, San Francisco, Sacramento, Bangkok, Manila, Denver, and St. Louis. While they were living in Southeast Asia, they helped start or oversee churches in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and throughout the Mindanoa region of the Philippines.  They have also spoken to many thousands of people in more than a dozen different nations. 

They now serve as the Senior Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader of the Greater St. Louis Church. John is also the Vice President of the Eurasian Mission Society, the Heartland Regional Coordinator for Eurasian Missions, and one of the International Singles Ministry Service Team members. Both John and Barri travel periodically to Siberia and Eastern Russia to help strengthen the churches there.

On a personal note, John and Barri most enjoy spending time with their family.  John is also an avid archer, archery instructor, and bow hunter. 


/files/Members/Rice_DanHeidi.jpgDan Rice became a Christian in 1982 while a student at the University of Arizona.   Heidi was converted to Christ in 1983 while a student at the University of Colorado.  Dan has done graduate work at Denver Seminary and is currently working on a masters program at the Harding University Graduate School of Religion.  Dan and Heidi Rice met in Denver in 1986 as members of the Denver Church planting.  After working together as ministry interns for three years for the church they married in 1990.   They have two wonderful children, a girl and a boy, Alex and Taylor, who are now energetic teenagers.  Since serving in the full-time ministry, beginning in 1987, they have served in many capacities in a number of different cities and states - Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, San Diego, Los Angeles, Fort Worth, Wichita, and now St. Louis. 

They have lived in St. Louis since 1999 where they enjoy raising their children and being a part of this Midwest community.   As well as serving as the Associate Minister and Women’s Ministry Leader, their primary function in the Greater St. Louis Church is their role as directors of the Youth and Family Ministry.  They also direct summer youth camps and other youth related events.  Dan also is on the Committee for Youth and Family Ministries, which is a service team for the International Churches of Christ.  They enjoy running, hiking, and traveling.

Tim Schmidt became a Christian here in the Greater St. Louis Church in 1991 as a high school student. He spent many years in the teen and campus ministries and served as a summer intern Tim & Crystal Schmidtfor the church his sophomore year of college. Tim studied music at the University of Missouri St. Louis and enjoyed a 7 year career in the entertainment industry performing in St. Louis, Branson and throughout the country. He has been serving in the full time ministry since 2004. In 2005-06 he served as our youth minister and currently leads the Campus and Music & Arts ministries. Tim and his wife Crystal have been married since 1999 and have two energetic toddlers, Joshua and Adrianna. Crystal works as a dance instructor and has been very active in the youth and campus ministries as well.

/files/Members/Ward_Daniella.jpgDaniella Ward is originally from New York City but moved to Stone Mountain, Ga at age 11. In 2005, the summer after her junior year of college, she became a Christian in the Savannah Church of Christ. After two years of serving in the campus ministry she was a summer intern here in the Greater St. Louis Church. Graduating in December 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Armstrong Atlantic State University, she moved to St. Louis and now serves as a part time intern for the campus ministry.
